So I have a local shop that just sells pudding and such goodness. I was speaking with the owner and wanted to do a design for him to use on merchandise. I have done this design which is currently in its hand drawn state. I would then scan and edit on the computer. As it happens the owner has already developed a range of simpler designs but I thought this would be good for the folio and website.
I have been keeping very busy working on a course which helped us learn about new products and what we can design.. I had never thought of these things, and how it can help a director to visualize the possibilities of our art .
I have been doing The Make Art That Sells B course over the last month. Here are the final pieces from each week. I think that the map is the most successful and I am going to get them printed as postcards for the summer tourist season. I enjoyed all of the weeks and wish I could also go back and do more for all the weeks if time allows.
Well I cant believe its the end of January already! I am excited to show you some new work that I have been doing this past week. I am currently taking the Design Garden course on trends which has given me great insights but I think I want to develop my ideas further...
My work is featured on page 2 of the gallery which I am very excited to be part of The idea was to create a notebook cover based on Edwardian Brooches. I am trying to develop my style further and use unusual colours. Please take a chance to see. Its been great to be among s many great artists.
A design based on the unusual beauty of mushrooms and fungi. Would be ideal as wallpaper and home products. Colours are changeable.
